Poseidon M70 3.1.2 Soundbar

I bought this for my PC, not TV. It sounds great but has limitations for PC connection. EARC is not compatible with PC HDMI outputs so the only way to hook up is with Toslink or Bluetooth. In either case it sounds terrific but you lose Dolby, however you still get 3.1 sound. You could purchase an audio extractor like OREI BK-931 or you could also possibly get a monitor which has HDMI passthrough (but verify EARC compatibility). I tested the unit with my TV via EARC and I really don't find much difference in the sound quality but that could just be my hearing. The other limitation is that it only auto wakes when connected to EARC input. Otherwise you have to turn it on every time with the remote or Ultimea App. Seems like a firmware update could provide auto wake for Toslink and Bluetooth. Alternatively you could prevent it from going into standby mode via the app settings but then it will be on all the time. When not in standby it is always on and the computer will auto connect when it boots. I will use this with my bedroom TV. I bought a Skywave x40 which appears to have HDMI passthrough. I plan to use it with my computer for music and gaming. it is being delivered next week. Bottom line is GREAT Sound no matter how you connect.
